I’ve been gone for quite a while, but unfortunately no better, just
otherwise occupied. I’m currently having problems with my babesia,
mainly drenching sweats & nausea. I’ve had good success with Lariam
in the past, but it’s not working now, and Zithro/Mepron combo did
nothing. Dr’s prescribed Malarone 250-100, once a day.
As we all know, this should be taken with a high fat meal. So, my
question is, what, exactly, constitutes a high fat meal? For example,
would a tablespoonful of whole milk ricotta be good? An 8 oz glass of
whole milk? A slice of cheese? Frankly, I’ve gained more than
enough weight since I got sick. so I’d like to take only what’s
absolutely necessary for optimum absorption.
Thanks in advance,
Julie in SW Florida

I used brie.
And if you eat high fat without starch or sugar, you’ll lose weight, not gain.
